Benayoun Extends Liverpool Deal to 2013

Israeli captain Yossi Benayoun has pledged his future to Liverpool today – agreeing to a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2013.

The star midfielder had received interest from Barcelona, CSKA Moscow, Besiktas, and other clubs around Europe this summer – but he has decided his future lies at Anfield.

Great news for Liverpool fans – as the 29 year old quickly became a fan favorite last year after scoring crucial goals in the league and Champions League.
